For more than 60 years the name "Anticos" has been synonymous with quality fruit and vegetables to Sydney-siders.

For over five generations, the family has been in the greengrocery business. Despite the enormous change that has taken place throughout this time, in both the produce industry and retail sector, each generation has managed to succeed.

Today, the family business is being owned and operated by Charlie and Gabriel. Charlie has been personally involved in the Fresh fruit industry for over 20 years.

The first Antico greengrocery was opened in 1935  in Waterloo. Ten years later, another store was opened in Rose Bay. 

The current store was opened in 1990 and has been providing the local community with the Finest and Freshest fruit and vegetables for the past 14 years.

So well respected is the Anticos name in fruit and vegetable retailing that to this day the Northbridge store draws clientele from the other side of town - customers of the original store at Rose Bay.

So what is it that ANTICOS offers that draws the crowds across both time and distance?
